I just heard The replacements song "here comes a regular"   its fantastic, yet i had never heard it before, has anyone got some of these little non mainstream gems to share?

They are a band from the late 70's early 80's with some fantastic material.

Well i heard one of their songs the other night on the telly and it just blew my mind, great sombre passionfilled song and it was completely unknown to me.

I was just wondering if anyone knows of any other non mainstream classics.

You'll love one of my favourites then, its a happy, bouncy, fluffy song(not)
Venus in furs by The Velvet Underground. The intro was used a couple of years ago on a tv advert for tyres I think. Definately not for boyband fans
