Just saw the new flicker across the screan on skysports. One of my favourite players and i always had a punt on him. Faught a brave battle, always had a smile on his face.

That is awful news.
I remember last season Paul kept playing on the circuit despite being in obvious pain and unable to win a match and I admired him a lot for that

Sad news indeed - Sophie was at school with him. Bizarrely, we were looking at photos of him on Sunday.

So sad, I heard this on the radio just now. I feel for his wife and family. So young at only 27 . Sometimes the World just isn't fair

Very sad... top bloke, met him a few times as i used to work in a snooker club and he was good friends with the pro who practiced there.
I really hope he is remembered well, a big loss to the world!

That is terrible news, I had no idea he was so ill.
He was one of the handful of truly gifted players that I have seen play.

Terrible news. I came here to post this - I'm always a little slow. Really feel for his family now, they must be going through hell all this time. It was on the cards, but its still doesnt change the loss they must be going through. he leaves behind a family so young.
