Blinds are 300-600, for another 20 minutes. Then they play two more 45 minute levels - 400-800 & 600-1,200, then that's it for tonight.
I expect some 120 players to return tomorrow for the 3pm start. (There will be a re-draw).

Ok, crazy hand of the day....Sadly it involves Sheriff's exit.
2 players limped, Sheriff limped too, SB makes it 2400, called all the way,
flop, SB bets 5k next limper calls, next guy with the short stack moves all-in for 7k, Sheriff pushes for 11.8k, the SB flat calls and so does the other limper. Turn is
, the SB pushes the rest of chips in, and the other limper folds. River.
SB had...
Shorty...
Sheriff...
Limper...
!!!
Sick.

We're on a break then we'll have two more 45 minute levels of 400/800 and 600/1200 before we finish for the night.

Straight away he's just had to fold to a 13.1k all-in bet into a 16.8k pot on a
board.
He's not out though so it's not a bokk.

Big hand of the night. MB versus John Exley. Raise and reraise and called. Flop comes J high. Exley bets 4,800 and MB calls the 4,800 and raises another 13k. Exley goes all in for another 11k and MB calls.
MB J Q
Exley QQ
No more help and John Exley is around the 60k mark.

Steve Jelinek is not a happy man. On the last hand of he potted UTG with Eights to 4200, he was re-raised all-in and a short stack also pushed value. It was folded back to Steve who said, "This would be a very bad call, but I really hope you don't show me Ace King." He folded his eights only to be shown A-K and A-5 for the shorty and the board came a non-king-non-ace J-T-4-2-3. To say he is not chuffed would be correct.
S Timms
I Liepino
A Birley
C Huyton
C Cousins
Mark Lowe
Ishuar Patel
All these are out.
Play is now over for the today. 52 players left from this session and 62 from the earlier session making 114 players coming back tomorrow, when the blinds will be 800/1600.
We'll wait for the chip counts which should come over in fifteen to twenty minutes time.
