Firefox related - where is the best place to download firefox ?

I would like adblock as well - last time I downloaded it from Paul Phiilps blog but I am assume there is a more up to date version available now.

Any advice.

My advice is learn to use Google.

Download Firefox returns 25,27,00,000 returns on Google.

Don't particularly want the latest beta version of the Browser - and would like an add on or two so if somebody has downloaded it recently they might have an alternative safe source - thus making my question valid.

I think you misread my post.  The link I gave was to the official site.

Paul Phillips just linked to the official site and his favourite extensions.

You should just be able to update everything from within firefox itself:

Help > Check for Updates.

This will also update you extensions for you.

If you don't have this option then you have a quite old version of FF, just download the latest version from the mozilla site.

If you want to update extensions seperately then you can:

Tools > Extensions > Find updates
