Tournament Strategy - New Formula
«
on:

Entered a $10 MTT last night. Just sat down - got disconnected.
Turns out to be a technical issue with my Internet Service Provider.
Eventually manage to log back onto site, but tourney had long since finished.
Out of curiosity, I check the results page.
386 runners.
40 places paid.
I finished 54th.
And I wasn't even there.
Makes you wonder............

Not intellectually, no.
54th is the best result I've had.

Ive seen someone on an STT get disconnected in the first couple of hands and still manage to cash. Makes you understand how relatively easy it is to cash in STTs with a TAG strategy.

I know.
Now you're ready for the next level
Play half the tourney drunk then fall asleep and/or have a row with the missus and go out half way through.
Either of these usually guarantee at least entry fee back.
Once you've become proficiant in either of these come back and see me and i'll talk you through the: phone up the site and demand a refund plus expenses stratagy.

The drunk strategy seems to work for me, reminds me need a drink

The very last hand of the night goes to Dewi James, who finds ACES and talks Raymond O’Mahoney into calling his all-in preflop bet of 15k. “If I had AQ, I’d call!” says Dewi. Raymond calls holding pocket 66’s.
