Wow.
does anyone consistantly lose and question their ability as a player?,... or am i on my own again?  Smiley

last time you posted something like that I agreed and said I felt the same. since I discovered Laddies Ladders I cant do that. I'm mashing them up. yuo lot stay away though, dont want too many sharks in the pool

I actually use to do really well on the rounders on bet365 and according to my analysis of results since Jan is the only site and games that i consistently won on but i just hated the software so much.  Think i'll go play those again and try these laddies things then. - for some reason though i am just drawn to pokerstars (the graphics, the games, the usability etc etc.) - just cant frickin win on it though!!

no question it's stars and laddies.

Stars i love for the level of play and laddies for the structure but fairly soft play.

I play the sng's on billy's for buy in's to there 15k and 10k tourneys (which i love). The crapshoot factor on there is horrific, i had unbelievable run of bubbles on billy's recently 12 out of 15, all played correctly just got outdrawn by weaker hands over and over again.

Purely for money making potential i recommend laddies and vc(but i refuse to play there).

you love stars because the play is good? are you mad?

i love stars as the structure is good but the standard of play makes it harder to make a decent profit

whereas party the play is apalling and even though the structure is poor its easy to make money

yeah i love it when the play is good.

Use your best play on the good players they will fall for it. All other sites aprt from when i play £200+ buy ins i play totally straight up. A fish will not understand your beautifully constructed bluff. A good player will think what i want him to think, thats the theory anyway.

a good player reckonises all the good plays and makes good plays back where as fish just call you when you have the nuts

i disagree entirely.

a fish will call with 2nd pair and weak kicker because he thinks your bluffing.

A quality player will consider far more, such as blinds left if he's wrong, your play up to that point the level of danger on the board, etc etc etc

i am not a proffesional player so i see no reason to crush fish all day. I want to get better and the only way i get better is by playing the better players. If a player correctly figures out a move of mine, i can spend time figuring out the floors in it and play it better next time.

If i was proffessional  i would play $50 sngs on pp all day every day.

not really snoopy

the triple chance and turbo ladders are both excellent value. you make top 3 or top 4 respectively and get paid and you can buy in for as little as $3. they're good for $1000 a week for me at the minute.

I play the cruise ladders, Adam.

Only 1st gets the prize. Because it is done by the clock, there is plenty of time to outplay your opponents, even heads-up. Heads-up on a 'hand-limit' game usually turns into a lottery. Not on these though, and that's why I find them more profitable. I'm building up my points and plan to cash in on them when the promotion ends.

I think this would be true live, but, for me, getting better online means learning how best to play the fish.

For STT's I've never found anywhere better than Ultimate Bet. It's very slick on graphics, useability, speed etc - just like Stars. It has a good clock and a good structure and is hardly ever a crapshoot come the last 4.

I think it's better than Stars due to the fact that it's easier to win.

It also has a gret mini view option which rocks. Once you try it you'll never go back!

At the other end of the scale... Just played an "ultra" SNG on Pacific - 10 seats, blinds go up every 2 minutes... I finished second - the whole things took the grand total of 15 minutes. Good for a laugh though (and there's no time for anyone to swear at you in the chat box)
