I have just moved from IE to Firefox.  I use the "Show unread posts since last visit" link when on the forum and for some reason, this link does not appear when accessing the forum using Firefox, has anybody else noticed this?

I'm using Firefox and can see the link, I know on other forums (that use the same as blonde) you can turn off the user info being displayed but I can't seem to find the option on here.

Sorry not much help

Ditto for me. I've had a poke about and can't find an option in the board settings to get rid of this.

Same here. I even logged in with IE and checked it was in the same place and it was.

Is it possible it wasn't there as there were no new posts since your last visit? (could be if you were browsing blonde in IE whilst you installed FF)

Thanks for the replies guys.  I am using this at the office and they set all kinds of restrictions which probably cause this, e.g. I can't check and download updates.  I will try this out when I get home.  Good to know that this is not a restriction with firefox though.

There is an arrow directly to the left of the "home help search" etc. buttons, try pressing that.

I'm told that version 2 of firefox will be released tomorrow so it may be worth waiting until then to try it out as it will have lots of new features etc.

Everything works OK at home.  I used the Autofill option provided via the Google bar on IE which I found very useful, saves typing in name, address, email, etc. each time you fill out a form.  I have not been able to find this function on Firefox, does anyone know if this is supported?

Tools > Options > Privacy > saved forms?

If that's not it then there will probably be an extension, or you can use googlebar for FF.

Just a quick note, if you also select FF to remember your passwords, make sure you set a master password.  Otherwise they'll all be sitting there in a plain text file and if your computer is comprimised they'll be there in full view.
