offensive PM's

The problem i had this morning with the Pm's ,was i opened one of them while both my girls were in the room (luckily they did not see anything)I would have been gutted if my youngest had seen that picture she is only 9!!!

Could they not have been removed by the mods?

Also we have alot of members,that only pop on and off the site every few months,what will they think when in a months time this thread has drifted to say page 3 or 4,they open up there pm and see that with no explanation as to why the pm was there.

I have just checked Pete's account and the lucky boy got 4 Pm's and he has only made one or two posts,so i am guessing they went out to all members.

can these Pm's be removed before someone sees the picture that really shouldn't?

It is for this very reason that I was most distressed about this whole incident, that it genuinely could cause offence & hurt if opened in the wrong circumstances. I'm really sorry Shelly. OK, directly speaking, it's not our (blondes) fault, but blonde run the Site, so preventing such attacks is indeed our responsibility.

Could the offensive stuff have been removed by the Mods? We removed it from all of the blonde Forum Boards, but we can't access Members PM's accounts, & just as well, there would be a right hue & cry if we could!

An apology via PM has now been sent to every blonde.

I accept all the criticism we've had about this matter, no arguments. But I must thank the Mods, who acted swiftly to prevent further problems.

It's the nature of the beast that these attacks may occur from time to time, but we are looking at ways of staynig one step ahead. Not easy though.

Maybe a pm should be sent to everyone then explaining the person in question has been banned and an apology,because like i said before this thread will be gone when some log on,just a thought.

Correct, sent by a Spammer who registered with blonde for that purpose, pure & simple. I have answered Mad & Charmaine now.

Mine didn't show up from Snoopy either, but I just asked James to send me a PM and it worked as normal (popping up in another window), maybe it's just a mass email glitch.
