It seems, as Ironside & others reported elsewhere, we suffered a serious spam/porn attack overnight.

We apologise to any who were offended by the content.

I have been much against tightening up the registration rules for the blonde Forum, to the annoyance of my fellow Mods. Looks like I may soon have to yield on this.

Again, we apologize.

One of those things that happen on tinternet Tony - I didn't open the links as it was clearly spam.

Apology not really needed but it's nice to see and thanx.

Difficult to see how tightening up on registration could work - If the system used is automated it can be got around - If not it will create a lot of work.

You could regulate the PM system say by allowing people to choose only to receive PMs from selected people (moderators and 'buddys' for instance), but I can see the downside to this.

Fingers crossed that it doesn't happen too often.

 Cool

Thanks, & yes - if folks want to circumvent the system to spam, they will, & no amount of form-filling will stop them, all it will achieve is to make it harder to join blonde, & I don't want to do that.

But I am very embarrasssed, & feel responsible, for what happened last night.

Tikay,

Just woke up to one of these spams but it's so obvious that it's junk that no sane person would open the links. Can't you just block the sender from the forum?

By the way, how did you do in the tourney last night??

The "sender" has been banned.

The Laddies Tourney? I seem to think a misunderstanding arose. I never won a sausage yesterday. Won nearly $3k on Friday, lost a goodly lump of it yesterday. Whatever I did, I did wrong, & I lost every race - just one of those days. Friday was the opposite, I was super-lucky all day. If only we knew in advance what the day would be like!
