I was just wondering if any of the online bookies are offering prices
on the next new verb to be introduced to the vernacular.

After the noteworthy success and universal acceptance of the verb 'to final' and all of it's derivatives (finalling etc.)

I could not help but notice the introduction of it's newer sibling 'to money' in the last couple of days.

I like these new verbs, so please keep them coming Tikay

Thank you Ralph.

How about "to bubble". Very appropriate in my case, eh?

These blonde verbs seem to be growing rapidly.

So far we seem to have......

To money.

To Final.

To be Tikayed

To be matey-boyed.

I wonder if we could be blondied?

Can "village" go in the list. As in "that 'kin village over there just bet into a dry pot with a 6 high flush draw on the turn"... You can guess what the allin man (who I wouldve eliminated with ace high) did to me less than 2 rounds later.

No, this is not permissable.

It could have been "same villaged", as in Notts, where there is a lot of it about.

Or "village idioted" - as in Blackpool, where there are, well, quite a lot...... Or so I a reliably informed. Cough cough.

Hi Guys,

On the subject of new verbs, how about these for size?

Meaning: To get ones ugly mug on tv..... "To be Four-Two-Fived"  Usage example: "If I money at the Main Event this week, I just know I am gonna be Four-Two-Fived"

or

Meaning: To play poker badly due to attractive member of the opposite sex at the table.... "To be Merciered"  Usage example: "Why I went all-in with 4 8 off against that girl, I will never know. I must admit, I was Merciered"

I would have thought to be merciered would be to put your whole stack in with jacks because you are not being bullied by a girl. When isa turns her aces over youve been merciered. Then you mateybot her with your jack on the river.

Mercier is a member of the opposite sex? Like, a woman? WOW. When did THAT happen?
