I'm using my dads laptop at the moment, and all the text is bigger/easier to read than it is on my lappie. Everything else is normal, just the text is bigger.

Is there a setting that I can change to make my text bigger please?

choose view from the menu bar along the top then select text size and change it there

assuming your using IE. It won't work for every web page and will screw others up but generally it will do what you want it to.

control and - will make it smaller too, control & + makes text larger

Right click on the desktop > Properties > Appearance > Font Size.

You can make the default text bigger for every program. Advanced lets you tweak things even more.

Your dad is probably running a lower resolution but changing it on a tft will lead to bad results as they operate best at their native resolution (1 pixel in screen for every pixel being displayed).
