It doesn't take much to entertain a Beagle. A sparkler will keep me occupied for days.

£280 you say? mmmmm called dynamite is it?
I would advise you to stand well back from it after lighting.
Look what happened when i overspent on the fireworks last year!!!

Sorry on my high horse about this whole subject............why are you buying fireworks?
??
These things maim and destroy somebody every year.
They are intrusive to those who live nearby.
They now seem to be let off for a full month either side of any official celebration
They are louder than is reasonable

I hate the bloody things. They scare my dogs every year. I got into a fight with three Ned's a couple of years back after one of them threw one near my dog. Don't get me wrong, I have no problem with properly organised displays, but I hate it when Kids set off fireworks weeks before Nov 5th. I guess it is ok if you live in an area where people are responsible enough not to set them off at anytime of day, but I stay in Scumsville and there are savages everywhere you look
. It is impossible to predict when one of them will suddenly decide to let off a firework, so after 5pm there is no way my dogs will get to go a walk.

I'll take my kids to an organised display tonight and some sparklers tomorrow night in the Garden
The organised display will be far better than anything I'd do, is cheaper for me and the kids love the sparklers anyway
Not a great fan personally of people going overboard with this sort of stuff

Last year while back in London the local kids would terrorise people while they were out shopping by deliberately aiming them and bombarding shopfronts etc...When one of those things whistles past your face it takes you out of your stride, I can tell you.
For my money, I can't really see what the fuss is about. Once you've seen one you've seen em all and £280 is a fair few buy ins for me playing live. Just my boring take on it.

lol, I was just kidding. Yea one of my dogs hates the noise, the other one is ice cool and is afraid of nothing. He was a rescue and was very thin when he first arrived, but his past has had no negative effects on his behaviour. He is the most confident person I have ever met, just like a pushy gameshow host

Watch out for fireworks like that, we bought one of those last year and said people had to stand at least 25m back, now I dunno about you but I haven't got a 25m long garden! Also keep all kittens away... mine decided to go and have a look at it just before it took off, I thought he was going to die!!

Just got back from an organised one, what a show, it was fantastic. My little girl loved it too, she was a bit scared at first and wanted cuddles with daddy
but she got into it (she's only two)

I'd like to see fireworks taken out of the shops and used for organised displays only
