I'd raise more on the flop but it has to be a fold on the river.

I would have called the flop and raised his (probable) turn bet (to see how much he liked his hand). Set on the flop or 2 pair on the river methinks.

I would fold pre-flop your AA.

and fold on the river.  By limping you have 4 callers, and no idea where u are with your hand.  Perhaps you were ahead on the flop, but his flat callign your re-raises and bets is not the best sign, unless u are against total fish.
