Not really hand analysis but down to the final table with 4 or 5 people left, it's raise or fold preflop time, no point calling that often unless you're prepared for a reraise.

Are small pocket pairs worth lumping in with?

I've tended to just fold them, am I missing an opportunity?

Depends on the payout structure, what you think the other player is raising with, and the sizes of your stack and the raiser's stack (and the other remaining players) and the size of the blinds.

Sometimes you will be pushing, sometimes you will be folding, and sometimes you might be just calling...

yeah if it's close to that time it's a push. Especially when people who find an ace will also push or call you...and unless they have a higher pair you are a favourite...I'll take that everytime.
