Following the disrupted sale period on Saturday night, APAT has 46 seats still available for the UK Amateur Poker Championship at the Aspers Casino in Newcastle Upon Tyne on 2nd/3rd December.

These go on sale on Wednesday 8th November at 9pm via purchase online at www.apat.com via either the link on the front page or the schedule page.

APAT would like to thank all its members who have so far purchased tickets for the December event and who in many cases had to deal with the problems we experienced with our third party payment provider when they tried to enter.

A list of all those successfully entered into the event is available here .

oh no! You could always ask someone to buy a ticket for you, all it will need is your Stars ID and an email to customer@apat.com afterwards........

I'll be ready to click on Wednesday......... I was in Ireland on Saturday and left all my details with my brother and he tried to register for me but could't access the payment page (well that's what he said but he was rather keen to get down the pub!)... so having just got back I'm pleased to see I still have a chance of getting in..... fingers crossed and all that... I really enjoyed apat1 so hope to see you all there.

GNER run an excellent service into Newcastle, & Aspers is a £3 taxi ride from the station. Aspers, by the way, is right opposite St James Park, in the centre of town.

Thanks for that Tony, but those bloodsuckers on network rail want to charge me £70 for the privilege of changing three times from my local station.......and a hike from Kings cross (Thameslink) to Kings cross mainline.

But Will watch for better price

Also IFM, THXS but BA are the ONLY airline to fly to newky from GTW

Durham Cathedral, on the right hand side, (heading North) - a quite stunning view.

York railway sidings - spectacular.

Doncaster railway works - ditto.

Kings Cross station - not a pacth on St Pancras, but a termini, so well worth a gander.

as an employee of network rail id just like to point out that we do not set prices or gain any money from train journeys, the train operating companies get the money, all we do is fix the track!!! and sleep a little Wink
