listen you lot ,i cant understand why you would want to have a go at a sean (TD) for giving the customers what they want ,,,AND THIS IS WHAT WE ALL WANTED LASTNIGHT,sean is one of the top tds in the game and he listens to the players not like some who want to turn games into crapshoots to get them over with.... this was something new what was asked to be changed,  the running ante during level 150 - 300, and red-dog, as you all know is one of the most respected players on the circuit,so if he offers some advice for a little change then we at cardiff will look at it and welcome it .you know what theres some posters on here just waiting to jump down peoples throats for nothing IMO what a load of boll0x,why cant you just say oh well done sean keep up the good work, its not like as if hes done a runner with the money.GREAT POST RED AND WELCOME BACK NEXT WEEK AND TO ALL WHO WANTS TO PLAY A TIDY GAME THAT DONT END UP IN A CRAPSHOOT

why do you see people debating an issue (primarily what these forums are for) and/or having a different opinion to yourself as having a go? and why is any other opinion than your own bollox??
well to give an oppinion when you dont know the facts in my eyes would be boll0x, you should only give your honest opinon in my eyes when you know all the facts,it was like some one on here couldnt wait to be first in with a snide comment ok its there opinon what they think, and so is it mine as to what i think......

The moral of this story - for me - is let's look for the positives, not the negatives, the good, not the bad, the well-intended, not the ill-intended.

IMO, that is.....

This used to go without saying on Blonde. A shame it's no longer the case.

Well, together, we have to keep sending out that message. I freely admit, the cynical Charlies, the moaning Minnies, the smart-Alecs, & the negative Nigels, do get to me now & then - wassamatter wiv 'em, it's about a game of poker ffs? - but as long as we keep smiling & being positive, thats all we can do. It will be what it wiill be.

Ridentem dicere verum quid vetat

just because someone has an opinion different to your own doesnt make them cynical neither does it make them a cynical charlie a moaning minnie a smart alec or a negative nigel.

blonde also used to be a place where you could voice your opinion even with opposing views to site owners or moderators without being accused of being one of the above (and i'm not for one second saying anyones accusing me)

im all for keeping the "unique" friendlyness of the blonde forum but please guys lets still be able to voice our own opnions and not become a bunch of a**e lickers!

and seeings as this is a thank you thread for sean il continue it as it was meant

u gave the players what they wanted sean.

Do you KNOW he couldn't wait to be first in with a snide comment? Or have you drawn a conclusion based on the info available, much as Newmanseye did?

There is also the question of how he's supposed to go get the facts?

Hang on Sofa King, I made no snide comment, I gave an opinion based on the information given, and IMHO my assessment  based on that information was right on the mark.

You know what, its just not worth the time to type a reply.

I never suggested for a moment that someone having a different opinion was any of those Alecs/Minnies/Nigels or Charlies. I concurred with Jezzas Post, which was a generalism. I've held the same view on blonde & off blonde, in poker & out of poker, my entire life. I'm a positive person, not a negative, an upper not a downer, a glass half-full not a glasss half-empty guy. I set up the blonde Forum in exactly that spirit, & so I've never been comfy with downsiders. Thats a generalism, and not related to this thread..

Card room supervisor at Cardiff, who changed the ante structure twice last night (at the request of the players) to allow more play.

Sean has now been inducted into my Grovesnor Supervisor Hall of Fame, and is a serious contender for a spot in the top 3.

Sounds like a weak TD to me, caving in to players twice is either a product of poor tournament management and organisation or he's just keeping the people with deep pockets happy.

I would be impressed if he set a precedence within the chain to have all tourneys with a good playable structure not caving in to player pressure on a night during a tourney!
i allways thought to have a opinon on something you should know the something, that your talking about instead of saying ,hey red why did he do this m8?or strange that one ?instead of jumping to a conclusion in which you have done by saying what you did WEAK TD TO ME ,well he aint a weak td to any of us at cardiff he is a great TD to us and he loves the game of poker thats why he is so good at what he does and your opinon counts for 0 as to say he caves into player pressure during a tourney coz he dont ,,,you know what i cant belive im even bothering to write this ,as you all know this was a thankyou THREAD TO sean as tom dont have his number and tom wanted to express his thanks out loud to a top TD ..why does it allways have to end tits up on here when someone wants to thank someone?f-k me it was only thankyou some people got 0 to do than jump on the band wagon THATS MY OPINON and yes i know all the facts!!!

Time for a song (Tikay will remember Bing Crosby)

You've got to accentuate the positive
 Eliminate the negative
 Latch on to the affirmative
 Don't mess with Mister In-Between

You've got to spread joy up to the maximum
Bring gloom down to the minimum
 Have faith or pandemonium
Liable to walk upon the scene

Hehe, love it, way to go.

I liked Sting in his Police days, before he went all pretentious & decided he was the one to lecture us on how we lived our lives. Weird how these Pop/Rock stars all go down that route - Bono, George Michael etc. The latter was giving forth on the Iraqi situation the other day, making out to be some kind of expert. Balderdash!

Can someone find me a vid of "always look on the bright side of life, di dum, di dum, di dum di dum di dum"? That's my idealogy in one.

Spot on Ian.

These guys seem to think that just because they have sold a few records, it makes them "the People's representative", & they trot off to shake hands with the Pope & Mr President, giving it large as they do so.

Bono? Sting? George Michael? Who next, Shaun Ryder? Count me out.
