A few years back I went to the Melbourne Cup and backed Frankie Dettori and lost badly.
I am going to back him again this time on Geordieland at 12-1 whereas the wife has gone for Tawqeet.
Would love a win this time around, so come on Frankie!!
Anyone else betting on this race?

Yeats is now a big price, about 8/1  and Pop Rock should run a big one.  Good luck all

watched it...dissapointed with Yeats...can't blame the pace of the race for that as they could have gone on themselves. Geordieland injured. Tawqeet injured.
Japanese horse looks a decent sort though.
