I make it up the stairs again in time to see the Camel push all in for his 150k from the big blind over the top of JJ Hazan's 29k raise preflop.  We are treated to a very long dwell from JJ, and then a totally unexpected pass face-up of .  I would have bet money on him not doing that, and clearly so would Keith... he showed with a bemused expression.

Big Hands Get Televised News Now -

Proving once and for all that Rolf Slotboom has been blessed by a higher power, he raises with (fair enough) and then calls the all-in re-raise of Thierry van der Berg.  Who has .

Flop:
Turn:     (you can just imagine the collective intake of breath from the Dutch here)
River:

This means that Thierry is the 11th place finisher, and Rolf is as jammy as a dodger.

It is now "hand over hand" apparantly.

I speak a little Dutch and can tell you that we are now playing 'hand for hand'.

I hate to contradict you, renowned beagle, but the TD just clarified that one table will play a hand, then the other table, then the first one again.  Thus making a tiring and lengthy process lengthier, and more tiring.  Marvellous.

**************************************Ten Minute Break*****************************************

I just want to quickly relay that Simon Hennessey is sat on the cash game right next to one of the final two tables - the one with JJ on.  It's a fairly sizeable game, but he says, "I'm willing to pay €1,000 just to sit and watch him (JJ) play."

And the bubble has burst!  At the risk of stealing this story from the far more energetic Snoopy who's upstairs, I am going to steal this story from the far more energetic Snoopy.

Sergei, short stacked for a while, moved in into Rolf's raise on the first hand back after the break.  He had a last-ditch sort of two hearts.
Rolf held:

Flop:
Turn:
River:  .

Down to Nine then, as Sergei Pevzner finishes in 10th place...
