Dave Ulliott thought about a raise to 8,300 two to his left, peering down. His immediate neighbour clearly thought he was peeking at his cards, but it was just a chip stack counting look. Do you think he knew his photo was being taken here?

The Man in Black here is, I think, David Kitai*. Here he is, in a tense all-in moment against Matthias Steiger, who'd raised to 11k in front of him. No call.

Here's Jan Boubli raking in a pot, a popular face within the pressroom, although predominatly admiration deriving from out French contingent.
You'll also notice the Camel seated next door, he's still running well and is keeping his nose out of trouble.
Boubli has around 135k.

It appears as though J Petersen is OUT as he is lingering around the foyer area.

This might interest some of you rebels out there.
Table Sundbo just realised that they'd been playing Seven handed for quite a while with the other 3 tables playing 9-handed.
As a result, they all agreed to go on a 'strike' in which they refused to play any hands.
Bravo, I say.

Michael Kleiner, Jan Sjovik, Keith Hawkins, Sigi Stckinger, David Finner and Rolf Slotboom are all on the feature table.
I'm afraid chip counts are tricky to obtain from this table as I can't get a good view.

Ross Boatman is low, but grateful to have made it into the money.
For some reason, my tiny brain had convinced me that it was the last 18 that were being paid, and so I foolishly asked Ross if he'd pay 5k for his current position as a shorstacker. He looked at me rather blankly and replied, "Of course, I'm in the money already. Now if it was 10k then it's a different matter, but I'd still stump up the 10k to be where I am now."
