The very last hand of the night goes to Dewi James, who finds ACES and talks Raymond O’Mahoney into calling his all-in preflop bet of 15k. “If I had AQ, I’d call!” says Dewi. Raymond calls holding pocket 66’s.

well played keith ,it wont be the first or last bad beat youve had ,desperate m8 ul.
not taking away from the result
however, KT v 44 allin pf is not a bad beat, its a race, doesn't matter what order the cards come out, though
I'm sure it added to the drama, its not a bad beat.
It's a bad beat from the Flop onwards.I think the point being made was that it would have hurt Keith due to the way it panned out. ie going so far ahead only to be kicked in the groin on the River. The poster was just saying that it's cruel how the board teased him and that it won't be the last time the game takes him on such a rollercoaster.
But of course, pre-flop, you are right, it's just a race, not a bad beat.
Well done, Keith. Nice job, son.

Action No. of times occurring
Jan (s.b.) raises to 70k, relieving Alex of his big blind. 1
Jan raises on the button to 60k, relieving both players of their blinds 1
Jan raises preflop to 55k, and Alex (b.b.) re-raises 100k, Jan calls.
Flop:
Alex bets out 200k and Jan folds. Another drop in the Alex chip ocean...

Was just wondering where all the banter was.
I was reading the "at a glance" thread.
I feel silly.

Small blind JJ raises Jan preflop to 60k, call.
Flop:
JJ checks, Jan bets (I wrote that before he did it) 60k. It does the trick; another one for Mr. Sjavik.
We get to hear (and loudly) the live table commentary, but it's almost impossible to guess what the players themselves are saying. The table is so arranged now that Alex and Jan are right next to each other, with JJ all the way down at the other end of the oversized table. It does look like he might still be talking a bit (I overheard him being described by another journalist as "that funny guy in the bright shirt."

What it is, is a sick beat.
Unlucky Mr Camel, very well played indeed

It's JJ vs. J.S. again, and a raise to 200k on the
flop sees Jan, in position, take another raised pot.
JJ calls on the button, Jan makes up the small blind, and Alex checks. Small family.
Flop:
Jan's first to act, and bets 30k, called by Alex only.
Turn:
check-check
River:
check-check
It's Alex's Eight which remained good.
I'm trying to work out the overall dynamic between these three, but it's not easy; Jan's won a bunch of smaller pots, but he's still in third place chipwise, while Alex seems to be playing slightly more cagily than before he was a monster chip leader.
