What to do for Children In Need
«

Need an idea for something fun to do at my work to raise some money, I seemed to nominate myself as the event orginiser, and I've not done anything yet.
I work in an office, so I'm kinda limited, but I need something that everyone can get involved in, and will raise a lot.
I had a few ideas such as:-
Crazy Hair Day
Waxing some hairy man
Sponsered Silence (work on a phone all day, so may not be a fan)
Car Booty
See what I mean, HELP please!
Any ideas will be well recieved

Getting the boss to sit in a bath of beans while staff pour tomato sauce, treacle etc on them!
I have been thinking about combining some sort of event with giving myself some sort of fitness goal. I've doen the great north run a few times for charities. I am currently thinking perhaps a cycle from Leeds to Liverpool... but not until next summer!

some of the women i worked for organised an office thing for breast cancer awareness.
it was a raffle. everyone had to bring something and the tickets were 50p. also, we all wore pink and donated £2 for doing so.
you could do them same. everyone wears a nose and pays. we did the raffle over lunchtime. it was a real hoot!!
good luck

My mum used to organise things like this and the best thing they ever did was had a 'Puddings Night'
Get everyone to bring along a pudding and I think they charged a set fee to eat as much as you could. I certainly enjoyed them!
Just an idea

Also what about a day where you dress up as the opposite sex, some of the blokes might enjoy the privelege of getting away with it in public?

I think its a great idea! Its a Scottish Power Sales Centre in Falkirk, we do mad things all the time, so they will be up for something!

Not quite the same but they had a cross-dressing night at a local club and I could tell the guys love dressing up as women, they love prancing around in their mini-skirts, wigs and heels! Could be a good success if the people in your office are fun.
