Distant Drums - Jim Reeves.

Never heard of it!

I hear the sound (boom-boom, boom-boom),

Of distant drums (boom-boom, boom.boom),

I hear the sound, (boom-boom, boom-boom)

Of distant drums (boom-boom, bom-boom).

Profound stuff, typical Jim Reeves. Goes on like that for a while, but you get the drift. They don't write music like that these days. As for Jim Reeves, he was the then version of Morrisey, yawn........

The boom-boom, boom-boom bit sounds familiar....

Don't confuse it with Baldrick's poem in Blackadder!

Norman Greenbaum - Spirit in the Sky.    Great Song.

True Fact: Norman Greenbaum played this song for 55 mins at a Student Convention..... they asked him to play an encore.
