Is this possibly the best work by both Christopher walken and Robert DeNiro?

The performances are great and I have to wonder did both these great actors peak in this movie?

Open for discussion...

I dont think they peaked but both gave awsome performances.

I think DeNiro at least had done better work before this film.

Yeah, 2 or 3 years before i think.

Such is DeNiro's talent though, i think that you could argue for any one of about 10 films as being his greatest ever performance!

I've sold over seventy six million records, been in 3 movies, countless reality tv shows and have a lucrative deal with Pepsi Cola.

Someone paints it for me.

Yes it's a great film that's very rewatchable with lots of memorable scenes.

Walken and De niro are both class.

The film is filled with touching moments and the famous scene in saigon from the end of the film will have even the hardiest viewer struggling to hold back a tear or two.

this is defo one of the greatest films, boosted by the fact it stars both CW and RdN, giving outstanding performances!

the Russian roulette scene, must be one of the most amazing scenes of all time, it must have taken both of them hours to come down from that scene....so fekking intense!

Have you seen the out-takes from that Russian roulette scene?

Walken couldn't stop giggling

Editor came from Dundee, that's why we never saw the finished film.

He swapped the footage for a few splifs and a pair of nike plimsolls.
