Multi tableing

First time I've done this for any length of time tonight.

Easier than I thought it would be but tiring.  So frustrating when your cards make a house on another table though.

Any advice for best use of multying?

Don't play too many tables.
Make sure buttons don't overlap.
Take plenty of breaks.

Playing 4 is the absolute maximum I would say. I usually play four on mini view where the tables are just a thin strip and that is trying.

I play 3 at the mo.

You have to draw a line, but it's all dependent on you personally.

What is more profitable?

Playing 2 games where you can focus on each hand, watch the other players, and work out the logic to each hand.

OR

Playing several tables where you play like a rock and rely on the muppets.

Up to u? I can only do 4 or 5 max. I can play 3 properly though.

I don't playing more than 2 i find this allows me to concentrate and get a proper read on my opponents. I also think multitabling with limit poker is easier i play no limit and that is a less mechanical game and therefore requires more thought on certain decisions.

I'm playing 4 tables and playing the cards for probably the first hour and relying on the muppets.  After this I'm getting a reasonable read on the players and can concentrate on the play better.  At micro limits the play is never going to be great anyway so playing the cards appears to be working.

What has become apparent is how quickly you can spot a table that doesn't suit your style compared to single tableing.  Previously I'd start to lose and think "maybe it's variance, maybe it's me, maybe I'm too loose tonight" etc, but stick with it a little too long trying to figure out which.  Multying however, you have direct comparison ie: 3 tables making steady profit and 1 loosing you know straight away to leave that one and find another table rather than stop playing altogether.  I'm not too loose/too tired etc...play on and earn.
