I'm spending Christmas Day at my Dads and then Boxing Day with my Mum and her side of the family. Makes a change because I normally visit at least 4 houses on Xmas Day and usually travel a lot Canterbury-Luton-Watford but this year it'll just be Canterbury-Birmingham. Easy...

Xmas Day is looming too fast for me, neither of my two bessie mates have invited me for Xmas Dinner yet - which is a tad worrying! lol
Kids will go off with their Dad for their dinner elsewhere late morning and not come home till tea time.
Xmas Day is like any other day in my house, but with just more mess and twinkly lights.
I've always envied people that have huge Xmas Dinners and family in and out all the time.
My family are mostly down South, so too far to travel on Xmas Day.
I used to adore Xmas, but over the past 8 years I've learnt to dread it - the things some people do to you eh?
And on that happy note.............. lol

ah yes the horror that is christmas. I am cooking for the entire family...well, actually my GF's entire family (which makes it all the more unsatisfactory)..and because they want traditional christmas dinner, where as I was going to go with a game christmas dinner (venison, goose etc), I am stuck doing turkey and all that stuff. Blah! Boxing day...well...boxing day baby!! the biggest betting day of the year and every year it makes it the season to be jolly. All the footie, and all the racing you could want (oh and a little WPT qualifier or 2 that I'm in

I've had 2 invites for X-mas dinner. Not sure which to accept yet.
And on the subject of x-mas presents for kids.. I never bought my son anything till he was 5. I waited for a few days and then got him to pick his favourtie. Then told him I got him it. He got that much every year from everyone, it was a shame to spoil him anymore, by getting him anything. He is too old now though and the trick just won't work.
I suppose I better think of something to get him this year.

Accept both, get someone to follow you with a camera. Reality TV meets bad sitcom plot. It'll be a big hit.
