MTT need a much bigger bankroll due to the fact that you can go weeks without cashing and even when cashing you can go months without making the real money top 3

STT have a much small swing and should be the bread and butter of anyone wishing to make money playing tourny poker (rather than cash)

Mad, have you tried the 6 or 5 seater STT's?  Tight early and let 1 or 2 muppets knock themselves out and then you can start to play.  You should get in the money most of the time like this and it is great for your confidence.  Someone on here recommended these a couple of weeks back.

Mad,

Leave the cash alone.

If you can't, play slightly above the micro limits and develop a strategy. People make a living from cash players without a strategy. Don't bluff very often especially on 10 seat tables.

Some may disagree but i went through this as well. Cleaning up in the tourneys and getting hammered on the cash. Smiley
