Tikay's still got it... despite some people claiming he never had it, the big blonde pulled in a storming 1st place victory at a full Nottingham Gala tonight.

Good to see the blondeites marching on in the regular £50's, as well as the festivals.

Classy in victory, but probably best not to ask him about the AQ.

congrats.

OMG, this is VERY embarrassing.

Thing is, Chesney asked me how I got on, just after the Final finished, &, obviously, I told him I'd won it outright. As you do.

Now, I'd never lie - not intentionally - but that was but quite the truth. Thing is, I musta misheard him. When he said "did you win it?", I kinda thought he said "did you finish third?". (I was not wearing my specs at the time, see).

Now, It's hardly my fault if peeps believe me, now is it? The weird thing is they never do when I R from the button, as I did in the Final tonijght, & that damn Smithers Whiten moved in on me. I coulda sworn I had two black queens, but luckily I looked again, only to find it was actually 7-4 hearts. These things happen......

Oh boy oh boy, I do wish that damn Jammer has not asked me that question now. I feel real bad that he has rushed home & posted that I won the comp. I just did not expect him to believe me. No other bugger does.

I fully expect to be well-flamed on the Forum by the time I awake on Monday morning.....Quite right too.

tikay, when was the last time you passed on the button?

congratulations on your result! Just think how good you'd be if you could read your hands correctly

Well done Tikay - but third! tut tut.  I thought it was yours after i sat next to you and transferred all my amazing luck of the evening to you!!

7 outdraws with five of them being on the river and also AA in the big blind to watch the whole table fold for the first time that evening.  Oh well shoudnt complain, i havent had a run of bad luck for a while now but decided to hit me all in one go! Just a shame i only managed to be touching your leg for the 5 mins i lasted on your right!! He he what do you mean you didnt notice!!!  Grin

Don't be shy, Tikay.

If you won, shout it from the trees.

Don't be so modest.

I can't believe Jammer fell for the old 'pretend you won the comp' gag.

Walked right into that one.  Cheesy

Well and truley caught AT-IT

The thing is we are now all non belivers i wonder why.

The old fella played like a diamond with his first hand of the final:

Big Bob under the gun raise ( now i thaught this raise is a i'v a big strong hand here dont mess) with 88

TK on the button decides to move all in with AQ

OOOOOOOOOOOOOPS

Orlando wakes up with AK

Q on the turn sends Orlando home and TK getting lucky.

A nice catch.

So when Chesney askes did you win it the old fella thaught he was talking about the first hand.

Just proves that there is no substitute for experience.

And we all know Tikay has that in spades.
