Should i of made this call

Hi,

 STT 5 handed 4 left blinds 80/160 i am BB (380), UTG raises all in 750
player 2 (1700) & SB (1300) pass, 990 in the pot, my cards 4-6 os but if i pass i am left with 300 after SB so i reckon i have live cards feel there is
to much value to let go, i call he flips over KJ os i out flop him but he hits
his K on turn.

 On reflection i feel i gave myself a fighting chance and don't think it was
the mother of all bad calls but would appreciate any comments & criticisms.
