Apologies if this is in the wrong place or is a duplication of an existing topic Smiley

Could anyone recommend books/DVDs for a poker fanatic that are slightly out of the mainstream?

Hilger, Sklansky, Harrington etc are known about, but there might be a little gem out there which is not so well known.

The intended recipient plays low stakes limit hold'em mainly but is as far as I'm aware profitable. He also plays low buy in MTTs & S&Gs.

It would be great if any suggestions were available to purchase on-line Smiley

Thank you in advance for any help - much appreciated.

A stress toy goes a long way for an internet player.

You know, I never realised I needed one of those until Tank just mentioned it... now I'm wondering how I'm going to last the week without one. Cheesy

I saw a picture recently of a mouse mat which was shaped like a poker table and came with chips for people to riffle on it while playing.  Been trying to find a link to it but have come up short so far.

I thought it was a great novelty gift at the time.

it was reviewed in poker player mag last issue or the issue before - should have details of retailers.  I'll see if I can dig it out

My missus keeps asking me what I want for Christmas and I don't have a clue, I keep hoping for some ideas to be posted here but so far my Christmas list is about 8 items and 7 are poker books!  I don't really want them all as I won't read them probably, but it's all I can think off at the moment, they;re just books I thought would be useful.  I think asking for a buy in to a comp is a bit cheeky Cheesy
