I'm off to London with some mates to play Poker tomorrow for 3 days.   However, my friend who has organised this has messed up the hotel bookings.
As a result, im now frantically trying to find a hotel in central London who can take us in at short notice.
Can anyone recommend a decent cheap hotel in central London?

Go to secret hotels section in lastminute. Pick out a phrase from the description, enter into the internet and search to find out which hotle it is. Get great baragins for little money - if you see the one with the best whisky bar in London it's the Aethernium (sp?) great hotel - really posh and takes cheap last min bookings. Watch out though - they have cameras in the corridors so don't dance naked outside your room even if you are egged on for a bet......

If you want cheap then best western's are a good way to go. Slightly above your usual health risk of a london hotel below 100quid. I stayed at the mornington near paddinton which did a job.

Top Recommendation!!! Way cheaper than any other site, last minute or not.

I used to work there when I was a student during the summer hols but have always wanted to stay there but it is normal bloody expensive. I have just booked 3 nights over new year for £200 cheaper than all the other online hotel booking sites. I guess they just dont want to publicly advertise these rates as it looks like they are going more downmarket.
