The third leg of this season's EPT takes place in Baden, Austria, from October 4th to 6th - unusually, that's Monday to Wednesday, very unusual days for a big comp.

blonde are sorting out flights & hotels & stuff in readiness for Live Updates, & I noticed this really unusual proviso today........

".......VIP-Package:
Everyone who enter the tournament area is obliged to buy a VIP-Package (costs €190 per person), whether he is playing or not. All PokerStars qualifiers will automatically receive the VIP-Package. The VIP-Package entitles the bearer to eat and drink at the highest level and best quality, of everything that is on offer in the Menu (e.g. steaks, salmon, soft drinks, wine, liquor...)......"

Never seen THAT before!

Full details of the Baden EPT can be found here......

that's a bloody liberty, so it's like a surcharge on top expenses.
Should take the EPT away from em

There are no lapdancers in Baden. its a lovely little village aout 30minutes tram ride from Vienna. the casino is at the bottom of a mountain and has some wonderful gardens around, a very nice setting for a poker comp.

Baden do that every year. When I went to a festival in Seefeld last year they were plugging the Baden event and the same package was in that. Bit of a liberty if you want to try out restaurants other than that run by Casinos Austria Shocked
