As most of you know I have two girls Jayde 12 and Jasmin 9

They have been on at Pete and I for a while to take up kick boxing, and 3 weeks ago we enrolled them into a fantatic school.

On monday night during warm up Jayde twisted her ankle/foot and sat out the rest of the lesson,by the end of the lesson it was quite clear Jayde was in alot of pain,so of we went to A&E 3 hours later and a couple of xrays we were told its just a sprain take some pain killers and heres an elastic stocking for her foot, come back friday(and in the nurses words "its just so we get the crutches back")

All week me and Pete having been telling her put some weight on it, you don't really need to be using them crutch's now it's only a sprain!!

So of me and Jayde goes up to the hospital today only to be told the poor thing has infact broke a bone in her foot(how bad did I feel when I heard this)
Doctor to Jayde Would you like us to put a pot on it for you?
Jayde: no your all right I have walked on it all week it will be right.

What a brave little sole she has been all week and still is being!!

And the moral of this story is..
Things are not always what they seem!!

Ooops - my Aunt did a very similar thing when my cousin broke her arm - told her to stop making a fuss etc - my cousin is now 35 and still doesn't let her forget it! Good luck!

Thanks for all your kind words Ladies

Suz she refused the pot and the doctor said he was fine with that, and that it would heal on its own with or without a cast.

Thats the wonderful thing about kids, as long as both parts of the bone are in the same room, it will heal.

All the best Shelly.
