MSN is down for me on both my laptop and desktop - its been failing to log me in since early yesterday evening.
Is this affecting anyone else or is it a local issue with me? I'm hoping that the fact its gone down on both machines means there's a wider problem.

No probs here, have you tried the "repair" button?
I had loadsa trouble with windows live so i now use an older version

Yes I've tried repair and have already gone back to an earlier version from Windows Live Messenger.

Check your pc clock seems a bit trival but if ur out by a few hours (in most cases days/years) msn will not allow you to log in
Found that out when an old pc of mines bios kept reseting the time back to the year 2000
