hell, I had to make do with dialup for a few weeks and that was fine. 56k is no problem at all if you only use it to play poker.

I've played quite a bit of poker with no real problems using a mobile phone GPRS connection which is slightly slower than dial up.

As Boldie says, dial up is absolutely fine for poker.

I had a quick Google and RadNet (www.rad.net.id) appear to offer unlimited 384Kbp/s ADSL for £56/month or unlimited 56Kb/s dial up for £28/month.

Hope that helps.

<Monty Python voice on> T Mobile? In Indonesia? <voice off>

Check the legality of online gaming Raab (some of the countries there have banned it). You should think about moving to South Korea - a mate of mine's got 100M for less than we pay for 2M here.

yeah guys gambling is illegal...

but in scotland......underage drinking is ilegal, drugs are illegal, drunk driving is illegal, working and signing on is illegal, gambling in pubs is illegal and these all go on.  or so ive heard.

thanks for the advice guys, ive played a bit of backgammon online and guys in the cafe play some bandits online. it was just the speed i was worried about.

anyway i'll be back in the game in the new year,  makasih allah.
