HOW MUCH?

As you may have noted, Red & I had a meet in Stoke last night. We chose a Holiday Inn Express, as they have Wi-Fi, & I wanted to set up my Lappie for referencing stuff.
I paid £9.99 for x hours coverage, & it fell over after 4 minutes, jeez.....
Anyway, we had a long night ahead & we fancied a cuppa. We went to the bar, as the little machine which dispenses hot water & has a stack of tea bags next to it had no mugs or cups. "Can we have a mug so we can make a cup of tea please?"
"Yes Sir, that will be £3."
"Sorry?"
"£3"
"For ONE MUG of tea, which we have to make ourself?"
"Yes Sir".

That is outrageous. Trouble is that enough mugs pay the price for them to get away with it. (hope you didn't pay, if you did I take the mug comment back
)

Hope you didn't get charged to go the loo. I was recently asked for 50p to go the loo in London. My reply wasn't polite.

"Piss off"?
Could you reuse the mug? £3 for as much tea as you want seems ok.

To be fair, yes, we could have had as many refills as we wanted for £3. But once Tony & Andy arrived on the scene, it was gonna cost £12 to buy 4 teas!
