I've just consumed a couple of bottles of Wolf Blass Shiraz Grenache Red Label and mighty fine they were too.
To anyone who likes a deep fruity spicy red I'd strongly recommend it.
Has anyone any favourites they might like to share with us, so to speak?

I know nothing about wine - I'll have a taste, and if I like it - I'll drink it.

But beer is a different matter.  This is the bottle I like to see...

I think the picture is quite clearly showing that there is nothing to be ashamed of in having a beer and fumbling with your nuts ..... but we all knew that was not wrong anyway,  didnt we Smiley

i've been amused lately by the reduced wine offers in sainsburys.

usually says £3.99 reduced from £7.99 but when the sale ends the wine suddenly costs £4.49 as standard.

i have mostly been drinking pouilly fume lately and very nice it is to.

Cassilero del Diablo Chilean Merlot is a top drop - the name means Cellar of the Devil which i've always thought kind of cool!

Theakstons indeed, what a splendid brew, if you like that you may consider trying Thwaites Lancaster Bomber.
Possibly the only good thing to come out of Blackburn!
