everything was going fine - now my wireless internet connection cuts out every 5/6 minutes

any ideas

it drops for about 20 secs but then lets me reconnect

can you connect your laptop to the router using the network cable, and use that for a bit, so we can establish whether the problem is laptop -> router or router -> www

in my connection page it says connected underneath the router name - but disconnected in the top right

I always found the belkin help line to be very good smithy.  Always sorted any problems i've had

Yep they are really good,  after a while they even learned my first name because I called them so much after getting the Belkin 54g router  Cheesy .   You should definately try the helpline
