Went to the City game yesterday and we were up against old boy Anelka. It is the City way that we let in goals against ex players of the club. So I made a bet at the bookies on the first goal scorer.
Didn't take long as Anelka banged in an early goal. I then cheered us on in vain trying to make a come back. Any way ater the game I was a bit wary of other fans seeing me collect my winnings knowing that I had backed the opposition. i needn't have worried as I have never seen such a big queue at the bookies after a game at City.  Cheesy
I would rather have had 3 points for Christmas but cash is always welcome.

There are more important things in life than money.

Or I backed my team once to win 2-1, when we were 2-0 up I found my self hoping that we didn't score again and that they did. So i just ripped up the ticket and will never do it again, ruined my day.

The very last hand of the night goes to Dewi James, who finds ACES and talks Raymond O’Mahoney into calling his all-in preflop bet of 15k.  “If I had AQ, I’d call!” says Dewi.  Raymond calls holding pocket 66’s.
