Rumours abound that Le Guen will be announced as the new Paris St Germain manager over the weekend, so has he engineered the escape?

I get that but..if rangers had been in second the problem wouldn't have been that great. Murray should have stood by him for atleast another season IMO. sacking a manager after 7 months just goes to show that he has no idea where he wants to take the club..and aslong as that happens they will always be second.

Yes but he took on one of only 2 guys at the club he could never beat at a time when he was 17 points behind Celtic.
Ferguson is the guy most Rangers fans can relate to, hes a Rangers man born & bred & is steeped in the tradition of the club (I'm not saying I agree with this but thats the way it works)

BTW Murray doesn't sack managers  Cheesy & he knows exactly where he wants to take them, he wants to sell up & get the f*ck out of Dodge!

My tip for next manager of the darkside is Billy Davies.

My preferred choice.

they'll be tougher to beat if Walter goes back surely?

long term, not the best news for Celtic? or is a genuine battle at the top good news for Scottish football?

A genuine battle is good news. Admittedly it is good seeing the other side suffer and I'm sure the Celtic fans are pissing themselves at the minute but the lack of competition gets a bit boring after a while.  When the league is done and dusted by Christmas it does no one any good, just look at Celtics recent attendances.

If the next manager is wise, he'll say to Dodgy Dave, sell Ferguson and I'll reinvest the cash.

No proper manager is going to want a player in the dressing room who has a direct line to the chairman.

Depends if Walter gets money to spend....

IMHO the current sad state of Rangers and Hearts is dragging the league down, not long after things looked to be on the up. There's an apathy about the Celtic support as well at the moment, it's no fun if they don't even try.....

i disagree rod mate, this season has been one of the best yet, if Rangers and hearts fell away to F*** for the next 20 years id be over the moon, the further behind us they are the better(its where they truely belong), the more of a laughing stock rangers are the better in my eyes! if rangers never made the top 6 again, it would be too soon! this has been one of the funniest seasons ive ever seen, ive not stopped laughing at how rangers have played, and how they have become a total laughing stock throught this PLG / fergie / murry backing fergie situation!

PLG must stay!!!

Come back PLG all is forgiven, Dunfermilne havent scored in 5 games & promptly ship 3 past the Forces of Darkness in 46 mins, utterly laughable
