We HAVE the answer! (thanks to Claw).

It's a roundabout on the junction of the A616 & the A614. Maybe, Ollerton Roundabout. There is a "nursery" next to the Roundabout.

I pretended I never knew the answer & asked him if it was a trick question, he got all evasive so I knew my hunch was right then. This was, oooh, 6 weeks ago.

I used to do Crossword Puzzles for my County.

Yes, and he would probably have got it if he'd actually heard of the answer. I was working on the assumption it was some famous roundabout instead of whatever happened to be at the end of Red-Dog's road.
