Smacked my knee on my desk yesterday whilst playing poker and it's swolen up today and is a a wee bit sore.

Therefore thought i'd ask whats the worst poker injury anyone has suffered?

I hear Kev nearly choked on he's pie once when he won a hand, has there been anything worse than this?

Alternatively whats the most damage you've done from a poker related incident. eg Smashed Laptop/Monitor.

Ive wondered this. My guess at an answer is yes.
Sitting in the same position for 10+ hours must be bad, I try to walk around during the breaks.

Not really an injury but when I'm playing online I sit with my legs crossed and I always get aching knees. Sigh - I must be getting old!

I read Danafish's profile and she describes the worst beat that she had ever inflicted on an opponent.

It was "six weeks in traction".

I reckon that might just be the winner

I dunno what glucoseamine sulphate is but I had pretty bad knees which after weeks of trying to sort them out came down to me having tight hamstrings which screwed up the ligaments atached to my knees. this is apparently quite common with people who sit down all day in an office or driving or whatever.

The answer is to stretch your hamstrings every day. Only takes a couple of minutes, I do the lying down stretches.
