After Ciaron Burke took two sets of blinds in a row, we suddenly found ourselves with a four way pot with Ciaron in the Big Blind.

Byron folded, McDaid called 24k, Clancy called, Cummins made up the blinde and Burke checked.

Flop = Two Diamonds

Cummins checks, Burke checks, McDaid bets 100k and Clancy, who can is pictured below at this very moment, pushes all-in for 251k.

McDaid makes a swift call only to find his dominated by his opponents

Turn = , River =

Double up for Clancy who is now on over 500k.

Just speaking to Terry McDaid. He's still on aorund 700k, even after doubling Clancy up. He seems pretty confident, although he did highlight Cairon Burke as the potential dangerman.

Don't anger the guns. I only use them in self defense, but I could make an exception if they were to be pushed too far.

Thanks m8, everyone1's spelling it differently here and we don't know which one to go for.

As for Tom, he can barely spell his own name, nevermind one with an accent.  Cheesy

Keith Cummins is OUT and becomes the 5th place finisher winning €21,000

Battle of the blinds with John Clancy in the small and Keith Cummins in the big.

Flop =

Clancy bet 100k and Keith called.

Turn =

Clancy checked, Keith moved all-in (pot was around 250 by this point) and Clancy, after a long dwell, made the call with three clubs.

As he turned over his , Keith seemed surprised that Clancy had made the call with such a marginal hand.

Either way, the River was close but no cigar and we've lost the man from Kerry.

Scott Byron raised from the button, Terry McDaid re-raised from the small blind and Scott called.

The 8-5-2-9-T Flop was checked all the way, only for Terry to take it down with A-9.

In what many described as bad form, he then asked to see Scott's cards as he tried to muck them.

The tournament director turned them over to reveal A-3.

I think I can explain this one... Terry and Scott were at the same table as me earlier in the tourney and there was a bit of a table discussion on this. Anyway it transpired that the loser only has to turn over his cards if somebody else from the table asks to see them.. Im not saying this is correct, Im just saying what was agreed.

From what I understand, that's how it is in most cardroom's in England, it's just considered bad sportsmanship to ask. However, if it was discussed earlier and neither had any qualms about it, then I don't see a problem. The TD seemed to make a thing of it though by announcing the request, none of the players seemed to have a problem.
