Young and Davies for £16million - spurs

West Ham are buying Lucas Neil and Callum Davenport.

Young as in Watford?
Davies as in West Brom?

I'd be suprised at that price. Watford will want the £9.65m West ham offered and West Brom have turned £10m before now

I hope Lucas Neil does go to West Ham - seems to have gone quiet on the Barc from! LOL

If we do not get Davies, we will buy Micah Richards.

Vs some of the competition to buy him I seriously doubt it. If you dont get him this month his price and number of suitors will rise dramatically.

We have offered.  A. Gardner and P Stalteri +£10million.

As you may know I play poker with Calum Davenport

he tells me that he has been offered to Watford with Routledge in exchange for Young..Ashley Young is it?

and that Curbishley would like to sign him, but Jol wants Anton Ferdinand for Davenport plus cash

Either way, Calum is surplus at Spurs

Calum goes to West Ham this morning  Smiley

Lucas Neill is on £60K per week allegedly, that seems a trifle high.  Roll Eyes

Maybe he should have stayed at Blackburn on 5k a week? Or maybe go to Liverpool on 25k a week and play in the reserves?

He made the right decision IMO. West will not go down this season.

It's a terrific signing for West Ham IMO. They need a hard leader at the back.

Sure they may be paying him too much but what are rich owners for?! lol

In his interview on 5live tonight he said that Liverpool were halfhearted about him, so why not go somewhere that will pay him bucketloads and where he's going to be the main man?

Same for Ashley Young...short term over-priced and over-paid but having that sort of owner allows Villa to take the punt

Carew will score some goals up top for them too.

With Benitez's rotation policy he was always going to get games. So I find that a lame excuse.

Apparently Benitez saying he'd have to work for his place (like everyone else) meant we were halfhearted too. He says West Ham came in early and it took us 20 days to come in for him. We came in for him LAST SUMMER!! LOL!

Finally, he was offered a new contract at Blackburn almost 18 months ago!

Rotated in a team that plays CL football regularly who he's been a fan of for years or starting in a team that could well go down this year? Hmmm... tough one that.

Almost none. Why do you think we are trying to sign Neill?

We dont have any right backs! It's not like he'd be competing on our left side without about eighty eight players!
