My lovely wife and I decided to take in the latest James Bond flick this evening(v good) and decided on the poncy looking Mexican restaraunt next door, we shared a starter which I can only describe as a pile of Dorito's covered in cheese sauce with loads of horrid red spicy stuff and peppers on it.
My horror at the taste was nothing compared to my horror when the bill came and I found we had paid £7 for it
So my tip is simple, the next time you go for a Mexican(tho this is a non exclusive tip) you must buy two bags of cheesy Dorito's and a pot of Salsa sauce and eat them in the car before you go inside, this will save you 5 British pounds.
My bad mood was only cheered by saving money part 2.....which was realising that when the drinks are 'unlimited top ups' there is no sense in ordering one drink each as you might as well share one glass and get it topped up whenever you want...therefore saving 2 British pounds.
Although feeling on the end of a 3 British pounds deficit I feel I am better positioned to turn this into a 7 pound win situation the next time I go.
