LOL thanks, I post a lot of hands that I'm kinda embarrassed about cos this ain't like some other forums where you get the piss ripped out of you people actually are kind enough to help you out here.

This hand though apart from the small flop bet I don't think I could have done anything, the other guy just played it great. It's more just an example of implied odds for people (maybe nobody) who might think you shouldn't draw to a gutshot or whatever it is he's drawing to. If he hits he knows he's gonna stack me.

he did play it well I wouldn't have taken him for the straight.

Quick question though, what did you take him for after the flatcall on the flop and the re- raise on the non-club turn?
