People were sent a private password by post. Once you got that password, it was linked to your ticketmaster account and you had to provide confirmation of your the credit card associated with that account. It was a total pain in the ass but probably meant more hassle for touts. I managed to get 6 tickets for me and family, but i'm pretty sure they are all sold out now.

Are you sure you signed up properly? Everyone i knew at the least got an email but not everyone got a letter. The letter was the more important part.
