http://www.oneofthethree.co.uk/jamesnews.htm

Oneofthethree has it on very good authority that there will be a James reformation later in the Spring and through the remainder of the year.  Rumours from Manchester suggest that some members have been working on new material as well as negotiating a new version of the Greatest Hits album.

Expect an announcement regarding some very special live shows in the next week or two. More as and when it is available.  Please also check the messageboard or myspace as updates may be posted there if I don't have access to update the site because of work commitments.

There will also be some updates and stuff to this site over the next few weeks.   Please join the messageboard and post any contributions such as news articles and the like and we'll get them uploaded to the main site as soon as we can.  Thanks.

i'm no james aficionado, and maybe their other stuff is ok, but 'sit down' is surely one of the top ten most annoying songs ever in the whole history of time

Awesome news.  One of the best live bands I've seen.

I was at the Manchester gig on their 'farewell tour' (subsequently released on DVD and CD) and have always suspected that this would happen.

Almost as exciting as the Pixies reforming, but not quite!

I've got that DVD.! I always put it on when I need to lift my spirits. The documentary and hidden extras are worth watching too and very enlightening about the philosophy of the band. Most of their songs are timeless. You either love 'em or hate 'em. I would also say that "Sit Down" isn't the best example of what James were all about.

Sadly, I've never see James live, but hopefully will get a chance to now. I watched Tim Booth singing at the Move festival at Trafford Park in 2004 though, and he was good, despite the bad weather. Goldfrapp, the Pixies and the Stereophonics where also playing during the day. Great event.

Rubbish. I don't wanna sound like a queer or nothin', but I think James is a sweet band.

Go listen to your Abba records...

Mr Sauron,

Made my day you have - fine news.

I like many of you have seen James live and particularly remember a live Glasto set 96ish, brilliant stuff.

Looking like a good year so far - Kings of Leon and Arcade Fire tickets secure, new material from Portishead and Radiohead, now just these bloody glasto tickets to get - now where is that photo booth. . . .
