Holla.

Any Blondeites involved today?

We have a couple of Kerrigans, Kevin O'Connell, Sverre Sundbo, John Kabbaj, Martin Green, John Conroy, Dan Smith, Roy Brindley and John Shipley, and some others...

Not witnessed too many huge hands so far, just a few small ones here there.

John Kabbaj is getting involved early doors though. His 1.7k bet into a pot of 3.5k (reasonably chunky for level 1) with a board of resulted in his Scandinavian opponent, Henri Casper, dwelling up for a pretty long time before eventually folding.

Meanwhile, Iwan Jones is also about, but not yet making his presence known. His table is full of unknowns, one of whom is Gert Anderson who just won a nice pot just before I departed the room.

Updates on both Jeff Jaffacake Kimber and John Punkfloyd Conroy would be appreciated where possible Jen and Snoops.
Without wishing to bok him I believe Jeff is due to finally win 1 of these big events.
Good luck to all the blondes playing today.

Still early days, but a big hand has already caused a slight stir.

Board =

Mark Secher Petersen =

Allan Aspholm =

Mark bet 1k, Roy Brindley (who was also in the hand) folded, Allan made it 3k, Mark moved all-in and Allan called.

As a result, Mark Secher Petersen is one of the early chip leaders.

Quick question, can the nut flush be folded to the all-in?

yes its gotta be a fold, only 3k down, and what can mark be pushing with in this spot thats not or ??

Found Jeff Kimber, donning a PokerStars top that EVERYONE seems to wearing (makes identification a lot more difficult, I can tell you).

Jaffacake's just an onlooker at the moment, but his opponents seem to be getting busy early on.

One of them is the charismatic Jeppe Juhl, who just folded to a 4k bet from neighbour Ghassen Yafaoui (Who looks spookily like Super Mario). The board read , and Ghassen shows Pocket Eights for Quads.

"Wow," comments Jeppe Juhl, "If an Ace hits on the end, you've got me."

Action Shot!  Here's a tense moment, despite the small pot currently underway, which attracted the cameras, and me...Marcel Luske (foreground) and Juha Helppi, resplendent in shades giving each other the staredown.  Remind me of when cats sit facing each other twitching their tails before one of them suddenly backs down for no apparent reason.

Here's John Conroy, who always looks as relaxed as can be - next to him you can just make out the distinctive hair of Daniel Smits Bertelsen.

Time for a couple of wide shots of the playing area, the first hosted by Italy's Luca Pagano, who claims that Italian poker has really kicked off of late. In fact, he recently directed a tournament in his home country that attracted hundreds of Italians from across the nation.

Would like som updates on Simon Gustav Persson sitting on table 3.

Is this your guy?  He's on the same table as London player Simon Mycock and Karin Lundgren, both also pictured.  No sign of Katja Thater, who was meant to be on that table - early elimination?

Anyway, if this is Simon Persson, he's got 10,650.  Still only level two - 50/100...

We're 30 minutes into Level 2 with the blinds still at 50 and 100.

194 left, so not toom many exits thus far.

the average stack is currently at 10,309.
