Is this your guy?  He's on the same table as London player Simon Mycock and Karin Lundgren, both also pictured.  No sign of Katja Thater, who was meant to be on that table - early elimination?

That's the guy, would be very happy if you keep me updated on his number of chips.

Passing through the tables, I caught an all-in on Table 2.

The board read Two Diamonds two hearts three clubs, and Gerald Lemke was all-in with Pocket Bullets versus the of Erik Koskas.

The turn brought a menacing , but the flush never came into fruition as the hit the felt for the River.

As a result, Lemke has doubled up to around the 6k mark.

Chip counts from table Dan Smith, who after his erratic but very watchable performance in Dublin could be one to keep an eye on chipwise over here...

Table 15:

(1) John Baarstrom        11,725
(2) Tom McEvoy             4,700
(3) Henrik Engsig            9,525
(4) Dan Smith                8,200
(5) Kent Ballegaard         10,700
(6) Age Spets                6,125
(7) Lotte Kalland            9,800
(Cool Thomas Blomberg      10,600
(9) Peter Asterfeldt        12,100
(10) Donny Morris            9,800

Not a whole bunch separating this lot, but elsewhere the chips are more unbalanced.  A sample:

Birgitta Johansson  15,300
John Kabbaj           11,400
Per Ummer             1,000
Ingemar Backmann  8,325
Jim Kerrigan            9,800
Gunnar Ostebrod    13,600
Iwan Jones            16,000

Also saw Les Kerrigan wandering behind the ropes, keeping an eye on brothers, having turned his player badge backwards and pinned it on his sweater like a press pass.  I salute your ingenuity, sir - done the same thing many a time in the early days.  Now, just a matter of roping him in to doing some updating...

Believe it or not, this is Rob Hollink.  Neighbour Ghassan El-Hoss is giving him a look charged with suspicion...or maybe he just doesn't like his hat.

Jeff Kimber's rocking and rolling now (Although still close to his starting stack).

Raising pre-flop to 350, Jaffacake found one caller in Seat 7's Ole Andersen.

Flop =

Ole checks, Jeff bets 425 and Ole calls.

Turn =

Both men check.

River = three diamonds

Ole checks, Jeff bets 800 and Ole calls.

Jeff shows , and Ole mucks, although he took his time which is always annoying.

This little rascal is a certain Swede called Erik Friberg, who perfomed magnificently in the most recent World Series to finish a highly respectable 8th (I think) for around 2 million in spondoolies. Not bad for a day (well, week) at the office.

Erik is currently on 11,750 in this event and has just had everyone fold round to his big blind, only for the Swede to reveal the American Airlines.

As a result of this hand, Jeff Kimber is now on 9,925 and Ole Andersen now has 4,550.

Nick Slade can't tear himself away from the casino (to be fair it's a bit miserable outside) and brings the story of Iwan's chip gain hand...

There's a raise preflop, a Norwegian in the middle calls, Iwan calls with 7-8...
Flop:  6-8-9  "The Yank bets 1,200, the Norwegian folds, Iwan makes it 3,600, The Sherman Tank goes all-in, leaving Iwan less than 3k to call...he was up against Kings."
Turn:  9
River  8

Meanwhile, Patrick Bruel is OUT, while Kevin O'Connell is back to 9,000 somehow.

Gunnar Ostebrod is one to watch out for. Some of you may recall his success in the Baden EPT 18 months ago when he won €120k for his runner-up spot. That's not the end of his good form though, as he also triumphed in the Swedish Championship just a few months ago. Certainly a dangerman in any comp.
