Here's Simon Mycock, who had a bit of a shaky start (I seem to remember right back at the beginning something about flopping a set of Kings, and then Matey hitting a flush) but he was on 13,500 right before the dinner break, which is now over.

is he wearing  a   fullon  poker shirt?

No, the other guy.  Kind of woolly jumper of indeterminate colour.

Ghassa Yafaoui has encountered an action-packed couple of hands, first disposing of Janno Andersen, who was probably tilting from the hand before. Ace high Flop, Andersen called all-in wtih Pocket Jacks, saying "I've had a great time, but it's time to move", only to watch in dismay as his opponent reveals A-K.

Soon after, however, Ghassa handed some over to his neighbour when his A-Q was outdrawn by Q-9 all-in pre-flop, a 9 coming out second card.

Meanwhile, Jeff 'Jaffacake' Kimber is enduring a torrid time with just 4,725.

"The only hand I've seen is Pocket Kings, and even when I did get all my chips in post Queen high Flop, my opponent held the same hand. He had a flush draw to boot!"

Here are Birgitta Johansson and John Kabbaj, table neighbours all day.  John seems to be transfixed by something in the middle distance.

TJ Cloutier (the one in focus).  He just won a few thousand when his river 2k value bet on a board with two Queens on it was paid.  What did he show?  Only quads.

Quick random question - does anyone else use their sleeve to open doors when they exit the loo, or is it just me?
